New York, NY – Bloomingdale’s, the iconic retailer known for its commitment to social causes, announces a special addition to its annual Pink Campaign: the AQUA x Kerri Rosenthal Collection. This collection reinforces Bloomingdale’s steadfast commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness through its Give Pink, Get More initiative. Over the past 18 years, Bloomingdale’s has raised an impressive $17 million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Tutu Project, its two long-standing partners.
The AQUA x Kerri Rosenthal collection comprises 46 pieces, including women’s and girl’s ready-to-wear, seasonal accessories, and home goods. These items are inspired by a painting exclusively created by Kerri Rosenthal for Bloomingdale’s in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. The collaboration holds special significance as Kerri’s daughter, Ali, was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2022. Until October 31, 2023, Bloomingdale’s will donate 10% of the purchase price of each item from the collection to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, with a cap of $25,000. The original artwork, featuring Kerri’s whimsical mood-boosting prints, stripes, hearts, and more, will also be auctioned online until October 12 to benefit Pink Aid.
Frank Berman, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Bloomingdale’s, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “After the success of the previous Kerri Rosenthal collection, we are thrilled to be partnering with Kerri on another collaboration with such a meaningful connection. The programming for our annual Give Pink, Get More campaign supports two incredible organizations that we’ve had the privilege of supporting for so many years, BCRF and the Tutu Project. We are honored to now layer in yet another element to the activity this season with the launch of AQUA x Kerri Rosenthal.”
In addition to the AQUA x Kerri Rosenthal Collection, Bloomingdale’s has planned several events and activities in its stores and online:
Give Pink, Get More: Running in-store and online until October 31, shoppers can contribute by charging a $15 enrollment fee on their Bloomingdale’s Credit Card, with 100% of the fee benefiting BCRF and the Tutu Project. Cardholders will earn $25 in rewards for every $250 spent on eligible purchases using their Bloomingdale’s credit card from September 22 to October 31. In-store enrollees will also receive a limited-edition tote.
